Details

We can not seem to get Mozila build 11 (11/29/99 nightly build to recognize and retain certain MIME types like the Citrix ICA client. Also the Flash 4 plug-in does not seem to work.

Changing component to plugins and reassigning, despite the fact that it's not clear what the bug is here (i.e., what the reporter tried to do to get things to work). nccstartup@netscape.net, any more info here?

This may be related to my problem. While trying to open up an Acrobat Form file (application/vnd.fdf) this type was not recognized. So I tried to save it. But the program crashed. After restarting I tried to manually add the mime type only the "New Type..." button would not perform any action. Using build 1999120815

Could somebody please explain in more detail what is expected and not working? Also test case would be of help. If this bug is about helper application it does not belong to plugins.
Target Milestone: M13 → M14
This bug deals with two issues, mime-type support and Flash 4 plug-in support. Since mime is not av's area, let's limit this bug to Flash. There are other bugs dealing with mime. If Flash 4 is working now, then this bug can be closed.
Assuming this bug to be for "Flash not working for Linux", I think this won't be fixed until a new Flash plugin for 5.0 is released. Existing 4.x Shockwave plugins won't work on 5.0 for Linux. Andrei, could you please mark a suitable resolution for this bug ? Thanks !!
