Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030507 One click on a mail/news folder should display the message list for that folder. A double click used to open a second mail/news window, and there are reasons why that is convenient. Starting in version 1.4b, a double click opens a second mail/news window, but it's unresizeable. The widgets for minimizing and resizing are missing. There's only a "close" widget. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start mozilla 2. Open a mail/news window and select a folder (one click) 3. Double click on the folder Actual Results: A small second mail/news window opens, with only the "close" widget displayed. It doesn't have the minimize and resize widgets to maximize or downsize a window. The window is resizeable by dragging the window edges, but that's a nuisance. Expected Results: The second window should have the same widgets as most other mozilla windows, including "minimize" and "resize/maximize". The second window is convenient for displaying messages in more than one folder at a time, cutting and pasting and comparing, and using info from multiple folders to compose a new message. The behavior of opening a second mail window on double-clicking a folder is in my opinion desirable.
the word "unresizeable" is incorrect if you read the initial bug comment from bug 204248 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 204248 ***
