The message list screen however does not shake until I begin to scroll. It seems like there is some type of recursive loop that it may be stuck in? Just thought it was strange. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Thunderbird Mail Program 2.Select the Sent Mail box 3.It does it at this point Actual Results: What is stated in the Details portion above. Expected Results: Not shook!!! ;)

This bug (it's not just in sent mail but in all folders) has been in thunderbird since the beginning. Very annoying. Mozilla Mail does it as well, but not with regularity. To reproduce, the splitline between the message list and message pane must be just as long as your message list. Then leave the folder and come back in. What it looks like is that it draws the folder, then decides it needs scrollbox, which changes the size and then makes it think it doesn't need the scroll again.

this needs to be duped against the mozilla bug. I believe bryner is working on the fix if it isn't in already.
