I use FreshDownload to download/speed up my downloads. My suggestion is to allow
the download manager that comes with Firebird to replaced with another. It
should have an area where a user can enter the pather for the program.

This is a duplicate of Bug 58744
See the bug this is duping for more details, but there are some download
managers that work as plugins for Mozilla.
