User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030612
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030612
For some reason, the URL http://www.leonia.fi/cgi-bin/vepa is not opened
correctly in Mozilla when clicked first time. Browser keeps on loading and
loading, though nothing is really transferred. The page either shows nothing or
just "Tervetuloa verkkopalveluun". After stopping and clicking refresh the whole
page with login dialog is shown.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the link above
2. Wait for nothing to happen, repeat if really bored
3. Click stop and refresh to load page correctly
Actual Results:
Page kept on loading and loading saying "Loading..." on the tab. After a while
the browser was redirected to a page saying:
HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily
Server: Netscape-Enterprise/3.6 SP3
Date: Wed, 18 Jun 2003 15:48:50 GMT
Location: https://www513.sampo.fi/A40/havepa_menu/MenuApp
Content-length: 0
Content-type: text/html
This doesn't happen in IE or Opera, ever. Most of the time Mozilla doesn't show
anything before I click stop, but sometimes it shows error 302. When I clicked
refresh, the page was shown correctly. I don't know why the redirection doesn't
work with Mozilla, but it's quite annoying sometimes.
Expected Results:
Mozilla should open a login screen saying "Anna asiakasnumero" etc without
having to stop and refresh every time.

After further testing I found out that disabling HTTP pipelining fixes the
problem, though that in turn makes the browser sloooow. :-( I'll rather suffer
few extra clicks than wait on every page.

This may have been fixed by a recent patch in bug 240759.
Does this problem still occur with Mozilla 1.7 RC1 or later?

Seems to be working in 1.7 RC1. It seems to be ok in Firefox 0.8 as well, so I'm
not sure if it's the browser or the page that's fixed.
Closing this bug, since the issue described above no longer occurs as reported
by Toni in comment #5.
