Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030612
Every time I preview a complex mail from New York Times daily updates or other
similar pages, the entire preview pane flickers and is unreadable. (The same
problem occurred with calendar on build 1.4b)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start maiprogram
2. click preview on the mail
3. watch the screen flickers...
Actual Results:
as above. The mail is readable but only if its opened. Still the preview pane in
the backgrounds flickers on.
Expected Results:
freeeze!
I'm using a AMD XP 1500 with MSI motherboard and asus Fx5200 graphics card. All
programs are completely updated.

The situation only occurs using the classic theme, and dissapears when I switch
to modern, orbit and nautilus. It reemerges when I return to classic. It do not
occurs when I preview a short plain text mail.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug 201379; Helge Vigerust, do you agree?

> also occurs with the calendar
201379 is linked to bug 201460, which is a general Mozilla-apps bug. Please add
the specifics of the calendar situation to that bug, as another case that can be
used to reproduce (and verify fixed).
