At the same time page loads just fine with Mozilla 1.3 or IE 6 with Mathplayer. Basically page has some MathML content with local xml schema and (probably) xslt transform. According to W3 recomendations to provide MathML content uniformly to major browsers, one has to serve content in text/xml mime and supply one of the recommended xslt stylesheets. To avoid IE security, one has to copy xslt-stylesheet to the same web-server which servers the page (otherwise IE will not execute it). I tried to follow these recomendatains on my web-server but found out that it hangs Firebird 0.6. So I had to check for browser type and supply xslt-stylesheet for non Gecko-based browsers since Gecko works fine w/o stylesheet. I filed a Firebird bug (208184) and Firebird guys quickly discovered that it does not work for Mozilla 1.4 as well and hence not a Firebird bug. I was expecting them to hand over this bug to Mozilla, but they did not semm to do that, so here am I, verified this bug on 1.4 rc2 and trying to catch some attention on Mozilla team. I don't have a test case on my web-server at the moment, but I am pretty sure the http://openmathtag.sourceforge.net/OMT_demo_interactive.php has the same problem I've seen on my own page. If for some reason the above mentioned openmathtag url is not available anymore, I can easily reproduce it on my page. I hope this bug will be fixed soon, it is a pity to see that MathML capability degraded severely since version 1.3. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
