Restoring file from backup seems to work if mozilla is restarted immediately after restoration. Behavior repeats approx. daily.

Reporter, do you still use this Mozilla version and/or experience this problem? If not, IMO you could close this bug as WORKSFORME. Did you have a crash/bsod of Mozilla/your OS before the missing bookmarks? Was your disk near full?
