Relax, this is more a feature request than a bug report.
When I import mail from Communicator 4.x, local folders -> Inbox, Sent, Drafts
etc Mozilla autosearches for the Communicator install default mail folder. If I
have customized (or in anyway else changed from the default location) the
local folders to f:\foo\MyMails Mozilla will not find them.
So, I would like to browse the directory tree to specify which file(s) to import.
Regards
/PL
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the Mozilla Mail&News reader.
2. Click the menu Tools -> Import..
3. Choose Mail.
4. Choose Communicator 4.x
Actual Results:
Mozilla autosearches for my Communicator 4.x install..
Expected Results:
Asked me to specify the mail file(s) I wish to import.

Same issue with Outlook Express Mail (or Address Book) import: there should be
an autosearch, then a confirmation dialog with a 'browse for different file' option.

This bug and bug 124486 could be combined (if possible).
There's also related Bug 193281 (focused on eml files) .
If you are a thunderbird user ImportExportTools extension comes in handy - http://nic-nac-project.de/~kaosmos/mboximport-en.html
