Details

mac user should be able to access the contextual menus in a browser by either holding down the mouse button for a bit, or by CRTL+mouse click. found in today's build, 1999120910. 1. open a webpage in mozilla 2. over either a link or non-linked content, press the mouse button (using a 1-button mouse) for a couple of seconds. expected: the context menu should popup. result: it doesn't; nothing happens. the only way to bring up the context menu is to first hold down the ctrl button then click the mouse.
Priority: P3 → P1
Target Milestone: M13
Bill, is this fixable for M13?
Assignee: law → saari
Probably can be M13 but I'm re-assigning this to the owner of the XPMenus component. It's got to be a low-level event handling kind of thing which I'm not qualified to deal with, especially on the Mac. I think these used to work so there hopefully isn't any architectural obstacles that would prevent fixing for M13.
