User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 I've had this happen on several occasions. The file did download with Camino-no issues. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Flux.html 2. Try to download screensaver 3. Actual Results: Download page opens in code. Expected Results: Downloaded the file.
free.fr servers the .gz files as text/plain so Mozilla displays them in the browser I guess they are serving unknown files with a text/plain mimetype (it is the default in Apache). You have to contact free.fr so they change the mimetype of .rar files to application/octet-stream (I don't think there is an registered mimetype for rar files). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 135411 ***

verified Reporter: For example : wrong server settings : http://www.mversen.de/mozilla/text/mozilla.rar correct server settings: http://www.mversen.de/mozilla/rar/mozilla.rar You can use this workaround : select "save link target as" from the LINK context menu (right click on the link in win32/Linux, dunno about Mac)
