Change the selections in the various drop-down lists 3. Go to another section, come back to "Fonts & Colors" Actual Results: Some of the changes were remembered, others were not. Confirmed. It retains the font faces, not the size settings. I'm thinking bug 214271 will take care of this, marking this dependent on that bug.

Is this new behaviour that was broken by something else, or has it always been like this? I just noticed it today, but this is my first new profile since May. It seems odd that somebody else would notice it 2 days earlier. If it's something broken by another checkin, maybe we should see about fixing it, since a rewrite of the font prefs UI will probably take a while.

Michael, it might take a while, but there's no reason to fix a bug in a panel only to rewrite it later. If you want to contribute a patch, great, but just because it marginally affects testers (if you make the changes and exit, they save) doesn't mean it needs to be fixed before the UI rewrite.
