I think it would be a good idea to allow people to empty their junk folder. Like
you do with the trash folder.
Maybe it should just move the mails from the junk folder to the trash folder.
But in any case, an easy way to clean the junk folder.

This is related to bug 189911 which covers this issue for the App suite.
