User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827 In the page at http://www.opengl.org/, the left column (the menu) is much too wide, making the rest of the page almost unreadable. the heading of the voting-box on the left (robpoll.cgi) should be wrapped, but is displayed in one single line. worked correctly with mozilla-versions < 1.5b Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I have to correct my bug report. It's not always reproducible. It happens sometimes. couldn't figure out, when...
if you change the font size after the page loads (Ctrl +/-) does the layout fix itself? What is the effect of reloading the page?
Confirming bug, 2003-08-28-05 trunk Linux. It's 100% reproducible if you restart Mozilla between each try. A Reload fixes it. Bug does NOT occur in Mozilla 1.4 on Linux. To answer comment 2: alternating Ctrl +/- makes the cell narrower for each key-press until it reaches the desired size after 6-7 steps.

Here it's not 100% reproducible (Mozilla 1.5beta - windows xp). Sometimes it's correct after a restart sometimes not. Reloading the page several times randomly shows the page correct or not.
Any idea on regression date?
I'm unable to reproduce this loading, reloading, shift-reloading, restarting, etc. Left column width is always ok.
It seems to happen only when the window is reasonably wide. I can't reproduce with a narrow window. I think the regression was between: 2003-07-27-05-trunk and 1.5beta (2003-08-27) and 2003-08-27-05-trunk It sometimes helps if I clear the cache and restart between loads, and I don't see it every time. However, in the 07-27 build, I did see it load wide and then change, so I don't think that build had the bug. I don't have any builds in that period.
The wide vs. narrow window comment might be wrong -- I wrote that when I was expecting to be able to see the bug 100% of the time.
To narrow it down a bit: I can reproduce (100%) in 2003-08-08-22 trunk Linux if I restart between each try (no need to clear cache in between). As before, a Reload (and Shift-Reload!) fixes it. It is also reproducible with different window widths. I noticed that about 80% of the *visible* page width is occupied by the left column with the greenish background. Bug also occurs with a "Block All Images" pref.

regression between linux trunk 2003072905 and 2003073005, apparently bug 38370 (the page has <hr>s in the left column) FWIW, I have to make the window >1330 pixels to reproduce this bug
dupe of bug 215857?
Maybe even related to bug 209066?
Bug also occurs in a debug build with the patch for bug 209066 so that will probably not help here. I could reproduce bug 215857 with the URL but not testcase, it looks like it's the same bug.

This may also be the same problem as I've been seeing with Bug #217919

This also affects http://www.sharkyextreme.com. It is not 100% reproducible (although close), and all other comments above apply (refreshing, closing....... sometimes fix, sometimes don't). Versions of Firebird affected: Build 0.7 official Build 0.7 aebrahim (SSE-2 and Athlon XP SSE) Build 0.7 10-21-2003 nightly (official + aebrahim)
My screen resolution is set to 1152x864 and 1280x960 on my two machines that this has problems on.

All test urls now work for me. Probably the patch for Bug 215857 fixed this. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031124 Firebird/0.7+ (Nova: MNG,DOMi)
Comment#21: No. OpenGL.org still sometimes looks as in the attached picture here. Mozilla 1.6b Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031124
soney@pironet.de, you are using a build WITHOUT this patch (it was built before the patch was checked in). Note that Bernd Rinnerthaler is not using a standard Mozilla.org build -- his build was built much later on the 24th than yours.
Hm. OK. The now current nightly build really seams to work fine on all testcases.
