For example, on the page http://www.bradsoft.com/topstyle/forums/index.asp,
there are links to the Bradbury Software news servers, in the form
news://news.bradsoft.com/, which would normally pull up the newsgroup reader,
and connect to the server in question. In Mozilla Mail and News, the news server
"news" is added, and it attempts to create the group "news.bradsoft.com",
instead of connecting to the news server news.bradsoft.com
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Click on a news://news.server.com/ link.
Actual Results:
Mozilla created a server called "news", and attempted to locate a group on it,
which of course failed, as "news" didn't resolve, after asking me if I'd like to
subscribe to "news.bradsoft.com".
Expected Results:
Connect to the server specified, and list / prompt to list available newsgroups.
Same occurred on a copy of Moz 1.2.1 on my SuSE Linux box.
