after talking with paulmac, i found out that the Offline feature won't be implemented till beta, and hence should be disabled till then. the File > Offline menu item is appropriately disabled, but the feature in the Prefs dialog needs to be "turned off" as well. thx!

fixed commented out offline, colors, and also in appearence show pictures and in navigator commented out history and clear location.

Should the display-image pref fall into this catagory? It is currently not implemented but it appears in the pref panel and can be checked. In which case we either need to reopen this bug or file a separate bug on that.

No it's not. That other bug has to do with the menu item to show the list of all images on the page. This pref has to do with whether or not you are to allow images to be displayed when laying out the page.
