imap password remembered incorrectly

Details
This happened in thunderbird, but I think it's a backend problem - I created a
new imap account and tried to logon - I got the password wrong, but I was never
prompted again for the correct password. I think this is analagous to the pop3
password bug I had earlier, but I was told it didn't happen for IMAP :-(

There's an older original bug about this somewhere out there, I think.
If you're whipping up a patch here, I'll be happy to DUP it when I find it.

Perhaps I was thinking of SMTP auth - bug 155172.
Still, I'll look for an IMAP bug.

This code has changed a lot and should be retested with 3.0.
