Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030917 Build Identifier: 2003091704 When entering 127.0.0.1 (localhost) in the proxies dialog (exactly the same as previous builds) the browser ignores the setting and connects directly to the tcp/ip stack without regard to the proxy. I am using A4Proxy software which directs the "localhost" to a user-defined proxy server in A4proxy. There is no difference if I select Http 1.0 or 1.1 in http networking. If I enter a proxy IP other than 127.0.0.1 there is no difference in the behavior, the proxy is ignored and a proxy judge page will show my IP, not that of the proxy. The identical setup with the 20020912 build of Mozilla 1.5 does NOT show this...the proxy dialog works as usual. Thanks for the great work!! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter a proxy IP 2.connect to a proxy judge page this one works as of 09/19/03: http://privacy.net/analyze/ 3. Regardless of the proxy entered into the prefs dialog, your IP will be shown.. I am not referring to the "referrer" field of a non-anonymous proxy, but the tracert to the proxy you entered in the prefs dialog Actual Results: Definitely reproduceable Expected Results: See above
