When I add a new person to my address book, it would be great if I could setup a
default account for that persons email address which will be used for the From
field in the composed mail. If you have for example two accounts, that is good,
if you can define that when you send to a mailing list, use the
user@public.mail.com email address as the sender, and when you send an email to
your friends, use the user@personal.mail.com address. Hope this is clear :).

Dupe of bug 187578.
Note also bug 44863, which will allow you to choose the from-address from a list
at the moment that you reply. But that's a manual action.

To make it clear, the 'from' field in a reply would be assigned from the account
or from the 'To' or 'CC' fields from the mail itself. That fits your
description, but not the title of this bug.
