We're not setting replied flag on imap messages when we reply to them - I'm not
sure why this is. I'll look into it. I'll check POP messages as well.
Target Milestone: M14
setting tfv of m14 - we need this before beta.

The reason is that the code was never ported/written. Guess I'll have to do
that. It drives me crazy that I can't see if I've replied or forwarded messages.

05/02. I plan to do pop3 compact folder and others features first.
I don't think we have both replied and forwarded flag implemented for Pop3 
either. Imap messages will be different than pop3 messages. It depends on the 
server capability of supporting user defined flags too.

Jeff, do you think this is a feature or a bug? Since we are past feature freeze
and it's not nominated for beta2, then I think it's out if it's a feature.

Otherwise, let's remove the feature label and treat it as a bug....

What's the user impact if this is not fixed?  Does it just mean that the status 
column in the thread pane won't show "replied"?
Yes, same as for forwarded messages.
And for people who upgrade from 4.5, they'll see some of the messages they 
replied to with the replied to status, and some won't show it, depending on if 
they used 4.5 or 6.0 to reply to the message.

Just a personal note: I'm not gonna use Mozilla Mail until this very critical 
bug is fixed.

MailNews is really coming along nicely, and this "Feature" is the only reason I 
can't use it for my primary email client.

Does setting the replied flag happend after or before sending the replied
message? I hope it is after.
It happens after.

Thanks a bunch for fixing this one.  Happily using MozMail (or whatever it was
decided to be called) now.

Based on 11-20-08-Mtrunk build verification:
Replied flag is working for IMAP now. But Forwarded is not working yet.
Do you want me reopen this bug since forwarded is not working yet (see above 
dup. bugs)? or verified this bug fix for replied and log new bug for forwarded 
flag?

bug 60795 logged for tracking IMAP forwarded flag already.
Marking as verified based on the verification on replied flag is working 
correctly.
