Sorry, the first shot is under Epiphany and it looks native (just compare these two attached shots to feel difference)

I imagine there hasn't been much of a rush to use the native GTK save/open dialogs, since they are so lacking. However, when the new dialogs are available in Gnome2.6/GTK2.4 (spring 2004), this would be much more attractive.
