User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 If I set two SMTP servers (laptop on different networks). I set the default to the second item in advanced list and mail still uses first item. If I close and restart mozilla, it still uses first item in list. If I delete the first item in the list, the it will switch the active SMTP server used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a profile with an SMTP server (that isn't reachable on current network) 2. Add a second SMTP server (doesn't have to be reachable, but must DNS resolve) 3. Set second server to be default 4. Try to send message in compose window 5. observe response when no connection is made Actual Results: will get response that the first SMTP server in the list was not reachable. Expected Results: Follow the default setting at a minimum. Could try all in list as another alternative but this would be only good if configurable enhancement (some may think wait time for n servers to time out is unacceptable)
Do you have "use default server" in Mailnews\Edit\Mail&News Account Settings\pop3 or imap Account\Advanced ?
