Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 I have reproduced this bug in Mozilla 1.4 and Mozilla 1.5: If you select a message from the message list but then mark a *different* message in the message list as spam (by clicking on the Junk Mail toggle) AND your preferences are set to automatically move that message to your Junk folder then the currently selected message changes. If the spam message was above the currently selected message, then the list moves up one and the current message moves down the next message below. If the spam message was below the current message then the list moves down one but the currently selected message moves up to the next message in the list. I think this is a bug. The currently selected message should not change without the user explicitly clicking somewhere else or some spam/filter rule causing it to be removed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Assuming your junk mail controls are set to automatically move spam messages to your Junk folder: 1. Find a spam message in your message list. 2. Click on a DIFFERENT message just below the spam message (say one or two messages below) 3. Make a note of the message selected. 4. Now mark the spam message as junk by clicking on the little junk mail toggle in the message list. Actual Results: Mozilla correctly moves the spam message to your Junk folder and the message list moves up one row (since the message is now gone) but as you can see the currently selected message changes. Expected Results: The current message selected in the message list should NOT change unless a user explicitly clicks on a different message or some spam/filtering rule causes the current message to be moved/deleted.
