Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) Opera 7.21 [en] Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.3 (20031008) if you doubleclick a message for viewing it in a new window you may experience that the mail window jumps to the top of that message when the other window (where the accounts are in) downloads new mail. i experienced it when i read a mail and in the background new mail was loaded (this small box on the right bottom of windows comes up) and then promptly my mail was on the top line again (well therefor you need a mail with more than one page of text). i haven't experimented when this happens. In the window where the mail accounts are in I moved the bar to the bottom of the screen so that no mail is displayed in this window. Instead I use separate windows which open when I doubleclick the messages. I use more than one mail account. I think it happens every time the download process gets a new mail and makes a requery to the messages in teh inbox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open mnew mail window with large mail 2.scroll mail to a page (not first) 3.wait till thunderbird gets a new mail in the inbox (automatic download after some time must be active) Actual Results: mail display window jumps to first line (scrolls up or display message as when you newly open it) Expected Results: it should be at the same position as before (and you needn't seek where you've been reading the mail)
