This seems to be a Macromedia Flash plugin problem, as just loading http://www.gatewaychurchyork.org.uk/Menu/Speedway.swf which is embedded in the web page, causes the browser window to crash. I'm using version 6.0r79 of the Flash Player plugin.

Are you using a gtk2 build? If so, this looks like bug 223744
It's a gtk1 build.

Crashed on current nightly, which did not come w/ talkback. TB25149384X is from 2003102905.

Hmmm... when http://www.gcy.org.uk/ is the first page with flash that I visit, a crash seems to occur every time. However, if I go to another page with flash first (say http://espn.go.com) and then proceed to the site in question, then there is no crash.
