Accessing any SSL site results in the alert message box asking the user to
download and install PSM.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type in a URL with https://abcd.com or any other SSL address.

Actual Results:  
Mozilla produced an alert message box saying "This document cannot be displayed
unless you install the Personal Security Manager. Download and install PSM and
try again or contact your system administrator"

Expected Results:  
It should have opened and rendered the page.

The systems on which this version of Mozilla was loaded has IE explorer removed
to improve system performance.

Mozilla 1.5 and FireBird are working perfectly on these systems.

well err, what's wrong with that? it told you to install psm. install it.

how about providing info?
* which mozilla you grabbed (full url).
* what options you selected if you used an installer.
* what other mozillas have ever been on your system.
* if you run mozilla.exe -ProfileManager and create a new profile, does the
problem occur?
* a zip of a dwi generated from mozilla run using dependency walker

be sure that your dwi includes actually running mozilla and getting the error.

fwiw my debug build gave me this error too, but i presume that's because it
picked a bad library. for your reference you should try using dependency walker
on a mozilla or firebird that works in addition to the mozilla that doesn't, if
you see that differs between the two which you feel sticks out like a sore
thumb, then play with it.

timeless - most people don't know how to install PSM, it's not listed as a
separate component.

Indrajit - the original builds of 1.6a were missing PSM.  download 1.6a again
and install, and it should work.
