User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Mozilla only selects one character at a time after double-clicking a word. Other Windows apps (IE, Notepad, Outlook) highlight one word at a time, if your selection started with a double-click (i.e. "word select" mode). Mozilla's behavior is inconsistent with the Windows UI conventions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load some web page with test 2. Double-click a word. The entire word is selected. 3. While still holding down the second click, drag the mouse to select more words. Actual Results: The selection area only highlights one character at a time. Expected Results: Other Windows apps (IE, Notepad, Outlook) highlight one word at a time, if your selection started with a double-click (i.e. "word select" mode).
