Transparency test fails

Details
On Win98lite (i.e. without IE), the transparency test under the Debug menu fails
in the following way:
The transparency test page loads, but sucks up all CPU power (under Pentium 133)
with constant page resizing. Mozilla must be exited through the DOS debugger
window. The main browser window stops responding to new page requests (stays
stuck on transparency test) and does not respond to the top-right window
(min, max, close) buttons. The back button brings up previous URLs but does not
load the previous page (any of them).
This occurs on the M12 Win32 with Full Circle.
Patrick, this is the issue of the compositor using up all the CPU time. I think
there's an existing bug about this, but I can't find it
