User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030614 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030614 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 The Password Manager "remember this logon" dialog box should not appear when a form is submitted; instead, it should appear once the destination page is rendered. At the point when a form is submitted, you don't know whether the username/password you've entered is correct or not, and therefore end up telling Mozilla to not remember the password, in case it's incorrect. If the dialog appeared once the form was submitted and the next page was rendered, you would then be able to see whether the form submission was correct, and would unambiguously know whether to have Password Manager remember the password or not. Obviously the wording of the dialog would need to be changed to reflect that you are being asked about a logon that you used to get here, rather than the one visible on the page which has not yet been submitted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Fill in any form with a password element. Actual Results: Password Manager "remember this logon" dialog box appears before form submission takes place. Expected Results: Form submission should take place, the next page should be rendered, and *then* the Password Manager "remember this logon" dialog should appear.
