This is a spin-off from bug 201500. Several of the mailviews issues are ones primarily aimed at the idea of using mailviews on newsgroups. I firmly believe that developing mailviews in this way would be a good course of action. I am therefore moving bugs (well, RFEs mostly) of this nature from the dependency list of bug 201500 into this one. The handful we already have are fairly basic improvements that could serve as a foundation for further development of mailviews as newsviews. Naturally, these will mostly be matters of mailviews getting on with threads, as threading is mostly a news concept. Bug 135326 - Cannot sort by thread in Quick Search, mailviews. Bug 184231 - "view" dropdown should include "Watched". Bug 197620 - [mailviews] Message Views should have "and all replies to these" and "and the entire threads containing these" options. Bug 207862 - Incorporate thread views ("Watched Threads with Unread", etc.) into MailViews dropdown list. Bug 218208 - [mailviews] Watch/ignore status of thread should be available as view condition.

Bug 135326 was duped to bug 263180. Replacing in depends.

In addition, it would be nice to "View" threads I have posted and "View" threads that someone has answered back to me but is unread. Threads - My Messages Threads - Answer To Me Or something like that
