this is the exthandler-version of bug 184144 (i.e. when a content type unknown to gecko is encountered) testcase shows the "source file could not be read" error, there should be a better message.

This bug was for "better message" when server's fault, "Content-coding: gzip" for not-gzipp'ed data, then no relation to Bug 205156. Sorry for spam.
