Details
We have a customer that would like the ability to remove a pref value via MCD.
i.e. they used mcd to set a preference and later on, they would like MCD to
remove the value they set (falling back to the default).
It's possible this API already exists in MCD and I don't know about it.

No, this API doesn't exist in MCD, but I can add it.

apparently this is no longer a M6 blocker but something that can be done later.
