User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031205 Thunderbird/0.4 When receiving attached messages in *.eml format, it seems not possible to drag and drop them from the icon view to an IMAP folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. receive message with *.eml attachment 2 [details] [diff] [review]. drag the attachment icon from the message display to an IMAP folder 3. nothing happens Actual Results: nothing Expected Results: move or copy the attached message to the desired folder
Using Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5 (20040207) This is true not only of dragging to IMAP folders, but to any folder. If you have a forwarded email and try to drag and drop it into a folder it always has the "no smoking" symbol up and you cannot drop it anywhere. This would be a killer feature to have and I would assume isn't that hard given the ability already to drag and drop to the desktop.
this is a duplicate of bug 226877
That's true. The problem is not limited to IMAP, however; you can't drag the attachments to any folder. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 226877 ***
