Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040211 Mozilla needs the registry.dat to manage its profiles. Since it always starts the search for registry.dat in my personal Windows home directory I cannot install mozilla on a USB drive because at another PC it will not find the registry.dat and hence will not find my profile which is stored on the USB drive. It would be nice if there was an option to give mozilla a relative address to some directory on my USB drive to look for the registry.dat. Is there some reason why this would not work? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. copy mozilla to usb drive. 2. create profile on usb drive 3. move to another PC -> profile will not be found automatically Actual Results: Profile was not found automatically because of missing registry.dat Expected Results: Search for registry.dat with relative address.
