Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5 (X11/20040212) See Steps to Reproduce. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click "View" pull down list 2. Select "Customize..." 3. Select "New..." 4. Specify a name in "Message view name" textfield 5. Select "Body" from 1st (leftmost) pull-down list 6. Select "contains" from 2nd pull-down list 7. Specify search term in rightmost textfield, e.g., a very common word as "the" 8. Click OK 9. Click OK Actual Results: When message view is activated, no list of messages that contain the search term in the body is show -- the list is empty. Expected Results: The list of messages that contain the search term in the body should have been shown. This is a showstopper for me (and for many other folks as well I presume). I really need this feature in my daily (high-volume) e-mail handling. Feature is also broken in Mozilla 1.5 and 1.6. Not broken in Netscape 7.0.
OS: SunOS → Solaris
Is this bug about IMAP mail? Then it's a dupe of bug 67421.
Whoops -- I forgot that Scott did some work on this issue! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 254474 ***
