When receiving lots of messages with attachments, it's boring to save
individually all the attachments of each message.
Thunderbird should propose a function "save all attachments of these messages in
a folder". Maybe in the context-menu of the messages list pane.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

There's a "Save All..." item in File/Attachments and in the context menu for the
attachments.
The "Save All..." item in File/Attachments allows to save all attachments from
ONE message. I'm talking about a way to save all attachments of ALL selected
messages.

Well, it would be logical to extend the current functionality. Right now, if you select multiple messages,
the File/Attachments submenu shows only the first selected message's attachments, which seems
clearly incorrect -- other options are either applied to all selected messages or disabled.
If it showed (and allowed saving all of) all selected messages' attachments, wouldn't
that do exactly what you're talking about?

Yes, it would.

I believe this applies to all hardware and OS configurations, but this bug is
currently set to PC/Windows 98.

I agree, this would be REALLY helpful. Ideally you'd be able to select multiple emails and simply select "Save All Attachments" from the context menu, i.e. above "Forward as Attachments".
