User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 If I use FireFox to browse for 5 MB file generating from SQL Server 2000 XML services, FireFox stops responding with CPU utilization going to 100%. It took 7 mins to display the XML. Same is displayed in IE in 30 seconds. In IE when XML is still downloading it starts showing the page and you can scroll down. in FireFox you can not do anything until file is fully downloaded. I think FireFox uses delayed display so that when html file is fully downloaded it shows and feels like fast rendering. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a large XML file over 5 MB Actual Results: Takes too much time to display with CPU usage going to 100% Expected Results: Should start displaying the file as it comes.
