If I click one one message, then quickly click another, the whole action is treated as a double click. As a result, it opens the second email that was clicked. This can be very annoying when I am using CTRL+click to select multiple messages (for deletion for instance). So whereas all I want to do is select multiple messages, I am finding that they are opening instead. What's worse, it isn't just opening the latest message, it is opening all the messages that have been selected so far. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click one email message. 2. Very quickly click on a differ email message soon after. -OR- 1. Hold CTRL 2. Click one email message that is not selected. 3. Very quickly click on a differ email message that is not selected soon after. Actual Results: The messages open Expected Results: No messages should be opened because when I clicked quickly in succession, the clicks were not on the same item and should not be treated as a double click.
The same problems occur when flagging email as junk mail. There is a column that identifies email as junk. An email can be marked as junk by clicking on the email in this column. However, if I click two emails in this column in quick succession, only the first one gets marked as junk. The second click is ignored. Thankyou.
I also have a similar problem using 0.4 If selecting many messages, opening them all can lead to a *lot* of new windows opening which drain resources and are a hassle to close. One possible solution is to do as MS Outlook does. If you try and open more than a certain number of mails (5 or 10 I think), it prompts you to check that you want to open that many emails.
Same thing happens for me with 0.6 in Linux. Often happens when I just click on an item (message or folder).
