User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316 DNS lookups seem to fail very frequently with 1.7b on Mac OS X 10.3.3. Specifically, I have seen sites such as www.apple.com fail to resolve from time to time. This does not seem to happen with Safari when I use it. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to sites such as www.apple.com that you expect to be in DNS. 2. At some point it will hang while looking for that site and then report 3. that the server could not be found. Actual Results: www.apple.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again. Expected Results: It probably should have opened www.apple.com.
I think we've taken some recent fixes, can you check a daily build?
