Include support for optionally setting a default search plugin, eg, google.
Allow selection of another search plugin as you do currently, but reset it to
google when you change the window/tab.
In the default install, make Google this default search plugin.

Generally, I do all my searching on google. Occassionally, however, I want to
search on, say the PHP or mySQL documentation. So I select PHP in the
search-plugin dropdown, and search for my
The next time I use Firefox, however, it's still got PHP selected, and my next
search will accidentally be on the PHP documentation instead of on google.
It's never a huge problem, rather, it's a small problem that happens time and
time again. It would be a lot more usable if it switched back to google after I
closed the window/tab.
