User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040316 What is the purpose of the fat white rectangle in the status bar? Is this a progress bar showing what % of the page was loaded? Well, it's alway 100% white (when visible) so it's not much different from the changing "M" square in the top right corner of the page. IMHO, Mozilla would better off without it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
> Is this a progress bar Yes. > Well, it's alway 100% white That would be a bug. See also bug 237958. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 192022 ***
