If your reply isn't not completed right away and you save your "draft" reply, when it is completed and sent at a later time, the icon on the message replied to is not changed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose a reply action on any message (a compose window appears with pertinent data inserted) 2. Close the reply compose window and choose "Save" in drafts folder 3. Open the reply from the drafts folder 4. Send the message Actual Results: The icon on the message replied to has not changed to indicate that a reply was sent Expected Results: The replied to message would have the replied to icon displayed (I assume the message would be flagged as replied to).

I'm using Thunderbird 0.7 under Windows and can confirm this bug exists. I've also just upgraded to 0.7.2 and the bug also exists. Could someone take a look at this? It's not very consistant behavior at all, could be confusing to new users.

Same problem with 0.7.3 on Gentoo Linux. Makes it hard to be sure who you've replied to and who you haven't.

Confirming that this still exists in version 0.7+ (20040829). Changing OS to all and status to NEW.

I have found that a "Reply All" to any message in Thunderbird does not change the message icon at all, only "Reply" changes the image. Thunderbird 0.7+ 20040831 on Windows XP Pro SP2 Checked with a fresh profile also to be sure that it wasn't a profile issue.
