The same bug exists in Mozilla trunk. I have post a patch there and got r/sr Please check it (bugID=236782). I will make a patch against firefox once I have get firefox source codes.
overall I think we're probably broken completely for any fields that manually enable/disable anywhere in the prefpanel. I will make sure that is fixed for 1.0
