I like to see only new or unreplyed messages in the INBOX folder, but I have to
keep the reply and the original message.
It would be great, if there is a function, that the original message will be
move to a specified folder, too.
It's only possible to specify, that the reply should be moved to the "Sent"
folder e.g. but not for the original message.
I don't need the original message in my INBOX after a reply, so I have to move
it manually to another folder right now.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. receive a mail
2. send an answer to this mail
Actual Results:
result: the sent mail was moved to folder Sent and the received original mail is
still in the Inbox :-( => I have to move it manuelly to a folder like "old
messages"
Expected Results:
the original mail should be moved to a specified folder in the account setting.
would be a little but very great new feature to save time an money ;-) !!

An option that Outlook has which is nice is: "In folders other than the Inbox,
save replies with the original message"
This makes it easier to keep track of conversations and not have to dive into
the Sent items every so often to move replies to the relevant folders.

There is also no symbol that shows me, that I have already replieed an email.
In Outlook, I see this in the message's symbol. there appears a little arrow.

Automatically file reply with original message is bug 177040.
Automatically filter incoming mail to a named folder:
bug 65135, bug 171458, bug 240123
Icons showing state of mail is bug 22112. (This is available now if you use
Thunderbird or, in Mozilla Mail/News, the Pinball theme, and probably others.)
