Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425
Build Identifier:
When I select text in an email and go to print it, the "Selection" option under
"Print range" is always greyed out. This happens when I've selected text in
either the preview pane or in a new window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select some text in an email message, in either the preview pane or in a new
window.
2. Choose "File -> Print..." The print dialog box pops up.
Actual Results:
The "Print range -> Selection" option is greyed out (unable to select it),
despite the fact that text has been selected in an email.
Expected Results:
There should be an option to print only the selected text of an email.
This is in Thunderbord 0.6 (20040502) under Windows XP. I have not tried any
other platforms or versions.

I am looking forward to have this bug solved as soon as possible since many
cliens of mine are requesting it urgently. I've tried both Thunderbird 0.5 and
0.6, MozillaMail 1.6, Linux or Windows (any flavour, any printer) and it
behaves always the same. Are those checkbox there just for a remind "it will be
working one day", or they work for someone out there?
