User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040506 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040506 Firefox/0.8.0+ If you have no browser window open and choose the menu option Go -> History, the history is not opened in a new window. But if you go back to the Go menu, you will see that the History item now has a checkmark next to it. For what reason? Who knows, weird ey. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close any open browser windows. 2. Open the Go menu. 3. Choose the History item. 4. Go back and open the Go menu again. Actual Results: The History item in the menu now has a checkmark next to it. Expected Results: The history should actually open in a new window and there should not be a checkmark added to the menu item for no apparent reason.
I'm thinking the reason for that is Firefox did/thinks it opend history on the "hidden" window. I think I've seen this bug before.
