It would appear that after one performs a search via Tools=>Search Messages, one
cannot select all returned items through an (Apple) + A. One can, however,
manually select the messages via the shift and (Apple) keys.
This seems interesting, for an (Apple) + A on the Inbox items list will select
all items.
I would not know if one cannot perform a control + A on Windows to achieve the
same effect, so one will need to verify whether that works or not.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Perform an inbox search via Tools=>Search Messages; make sure the search
returns results.
2. Attempt to select all of the items in the list by performing (Apple) + A
Actual Results:
Thunderbird does not select all items.
Expected Results:
Thunderbird should select all items.

I see this bug too in the 20040526 nightly. Not only does Apple + A not work,
but if you Edit -> Select -> All using the menu nothing happens except that the
Edit Menu remains highlighted (not open) until another menu is used.
Confirmed using Thunderbird-Mac/0.6. KhanReaper, please also test this using
Mozilla MailNews.
