In the preference panel under PRIVACY, only one option is expanded at the same time. Clicking another options expands THAT one and collapses the first one. But under ADVANCED you can expand/collapse each individual category as you like, independent of the states of other categories. Screenshots coming up.

In all honesty, i didn't read through all 30 pages from the mozillazine link mentioned in bug 191524 but i didn't find anything about expand/collapse behavior there? Not trying to be difficult here [it comes natural ;)] but i don't see how this dupe could've been avoided from bug 191524 description. Also Ben's comment "OK, here's what I have so far. Look at the pref_* images in this dir on my site: http://www.bengoodger.com/software/mb/" doesn't help, because there don't appear to be any "pref" images there. After some sniffing i found them at http://www.bengoodger.com/software/mb/options/ but if anything http://www.bengoodger.com/software/mb/options/privacy3.png seems to indicate that there's no automatic collapsing planned?
