build tested: mozilla.org xft-gtk2 20040615 (firefox 0.9) on SuSE 9.1 and Fedora Core 1. DPIs tested 96, 108, 120, 132, 144. To reproduce: 1-create a new user 2-untar the firefox build to a suitable directory in /usr/local 3-login as the new user 4-create a directory for the profile (e.g. /home/test/.firefox09) 5-create the profile directory (e.g. /home/test/firefox09/default) 6-run '/usr/local/firefox09/firefox -profilemanager' 7-select "create profile" 8-choose the previously created directory & profile name to complete the creation process Actual behavior: 1-an unclickably small portion of the Exit and Start Firefox buttons is visible until you resize the window Expected behavior: 1-the Exit and Start Firefox buttons are fully visible without resizing the window

note these screenshots were made on SuSE 9.1 at 1280x960 on 144DPI, but the difference at other tested DPI settings on Fedora Core 1 was minimal.

Changing from Linux to All, since this also happens on Win98 with 0.9.1 on a system that never had FF installed before. After FF has been run and closed, restarting with -profilemanager produces a suitably sized window without the buttons cut off. Note that I have never used any installer builds on any OS.
