User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2 If you rename a mail folder to a name that includes a / it does not complain that this is an ivalid character and appears to rename the folder correctly. However, you can no longer access the folder or put messages into the folder. If you try to rename the folder back to a legal name it will not let you - you get errors as well. The only fix is to completely close Thunderbird. Then when you re-open Thunderbird the folder is back to the original name (before the illegal character was added). Thunderbird should be preventing these illegal characters from being used when renaming or creating folders. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Change the name of a folder to have an illegal character 2. Try to move a message into the folder 3. Get error 4. Close THunderbird 5. Open Thunderbird 6. FOlder is back to original name Actual Results: Error Expected Results: Prevented me from using illegal characters in the folder name in the first place
